UPDATE: Silver Alert canceled after 74-year-old man found safe

Saturday morning: Broken Arrow police have canceled a Silver Alert for David Kerns, 74. Kerns was found safe in Tulsa, according to police.

Friday night: Broken Arrow police have issued a Silver Alert for a 74-year-old man last seen Friday afternoon.

David E. Kern, 74, was last seen wearing a navy blue sweatshirt and sweatpants about 3:30 p.m. Friday.

He was leaving 622 S Fir Court in a silver 2004 Toyota Ava with Oklahoma license plate number 270 EXT.

Kern has a chow mix dog name Bear with him, police reported.
