EDMOND — Consideration of a request to rezone property near Saints Boulevard and Second Street to multifamily will be delayed until the Jan. 8 planning commission meeting at the request of the developer.

The request from Summit Apartments was scheduled to be on the planning commission agenda Tuesday.
Homeowners in Arbor Creek housing addition have signed petitions and voiced their opposition against the rezoning during a community connection meeting.
Arbor Creek is north of Second Street and south of Danforth Road along Saints Boulevard, just east of Interstate 35. There are 163 homes and 78 townhomes in the Arbor Creek housing addition.
