Three Oklahoma businesses have been named recipients of awards by the Oklahoma Quality Foundation.
Integris Health, an Oklahoma City-based health care corporation with 16 hospitals and other facilities, and Video Gaming Technologies in Tulsa, which manufactures and maintains electronic gaming machines for casinos, will each be given the Oklahoma Quality Award for Achievement. OU Medicine in Oklahoma City, the state's largest academic medical complex, will be given the Oklahoma Quality Award for Commitment.
The businesses will be honored at an awards luncheon Thursday during the Sharing of Best Practices Conference, being held at Devon Energy Center.
In addition to the award for achievement, Integris Health will receive the Best Practices Award for Lean Health Care, Clinical Outcomes and Safety.
The Quality Award program is affiliated with the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and is comprised of three tiers — commitment, achievement and excellence.
Organizations that receive the excellence award can enter the national competition.
