Prosecutor won’t file charges in death of boy at Cordell church

Lane Madison, 12, died after a fight with a 13-year-old boy Jan. 11 after a youth service at First Baptist Church of Cordell. District Attorney Dennis Smith said Tuesday there isn’t sufficient evidence to file criminal charges against the teen.
