Trip to the Round Barn in Arcadia wasn’t my first visit

I attended the wedding of an old friend on Sunday at the Round Barn in Arcadia.

I knew where it was. I knew how to get there. After all, I had been there before.

But I realized once I went up the steps and inside that I had actually never been inside the Round Barn. I hadn’t even been to the gift shop on the first floor. I actually had never even been on the premises. I thought I had, but I actually hadn’t.

Then I realized why I was so confused.

I was never there. Instead, I was here:

This panoramic presentation was part of NewsOK’s Places series, which can be found at places.newsok.com.

And seeing the panoramic view is great, but you also need to see the full presentation on the Places article with reporter Ken Raymond’s description:

People get married here now. It’s easy to see why. With its lack of fuss or stodgy ornamentation, this place defies pretension

So thanks to NewsOK and its multimedia presentations, I thought I was somewhere I actually wasn’t.

That’s some good multimedia.
