Bryan Painter, reporter and columnist for The Oklahoman, was named the recipient of a national award for reporting.

The American Traffic Safety Services Association announced Painter will receive the organization’s 2013 National Media Award. The award honors print, broadcast and online journalists for providing informative reporting on transportation-related issues.
