United Way of Norman surpasses fundraising goal

The United Way of Norman raised about $40,000 more than its $200,000 fundraising goal this year. The money supports 41 programs for 27 nonprofit agencies in the city.

NORMAN — United Way of Norman surpassed its fundraising goal of $200,000 by about $40,000 this year, President Kristin Collins said.

Collins announced the results of the organization’s fundraising drive during a victory celebration Friday at the Embassy Suites.
