Former aide at Norman Veterans Center is convicted of rape
A former worker at the Veterans Center in Norman was found guilty of sexual assaults on two patients.
NORMAN — A Cleveland County jury has convicted a former aide at the Veterans Center in Norman of sexual assaults on patients.
Jeremy Craig Lyday, 28, of Noble, was found guilty Monday night of one count of first-degree rape and two counts of forcible oral sodomy.
Jurors recommended he serve 12 years in prison on the rape charge, nine years in prison on one of the sodomy counts and five years in prison on the other count.
