My employer is located on Reno just west of the Western/Exchange intersection, so I attended the public meeting about the Oklahoma City Boulevard design on Dec. 3 with a great deal of interest. The relocation of the interstate has created some serious access issues for our customers. I had hoped to see a solution that would really work — because the current access doesn't. It's obvious that the company looking at the options had taken its job seriously. The top options it recommended, A or B, make sense for the area, which has always been complicated to navigate. A traffic circle would be a nightmare and invite more congestion, not less. I'm old enough to remember the Classen Traffic Circle and it was the biggest mess in Oklahoma City before it was removed.
