Is four-day break good or bad for Thunder?

“I think it's good,” coach Scott Brooks said after Saturday's hourlong practice session. “We don't put a lot into whether we win or whether we lose (our most recent game). … I think it's always good to have rest between games. We can kind of rejuvenate the soul and come back with a fresh approach to the next game.”

FEELING THE HEAT

When preparing for the Heat, will Brooks review last year's NBA Finals that the Thunder lost 4-1, or will he solely concern himself with what Miami is doing this season?

“We're both playing a little bit different,” Brooks said. “You definitely take some things you did well and some things you could have done better (in the Finals) and try to implement some of it, but it's another year. Two different teams. We're playing a little different and they are a different style.”

BOUNCING BACK

In Miami, the 21-5 Thunder will try to avoid losing back-to-back games for the first time this season.

In the last three seasons, OKC is 39-9 (.813) after a loss. Chicago is the only team with a better record at 38-7 (.844).

Last Thursday at Minnesota was the first time in six back-to-back games this season that OKC has lost the second game.
