Ice skating continues at Norman holiday rink

The Norman Outdoor Holiday Ice Rink will be open through Jan. 6 at David Stanley Chevrolet, Interstate 35 and Lindsey Street.

— Ice skating enthusiasts have through Jan. 6 to enjoy the Norman Outdoor Holiday Ice Rink at David Stanley Chevrolet, Interstate 35 and Lindsey Street.

Ice hockey games and figure skating demonstrations have marked some of the seasonal activities at the rink, which is open from noon to 9 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays and 1 to 7 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $10 with skate rental; $7 without skate rental; and $5 for children younger than 5. Wheelchairs and walkers are permitted on the ice with $7 admission.

On Wednesdays, parents with strollers are allowed on the ice.

Proceeds from ticket sales will go to benefit the Assistance League of Norman. For more information, go to www.NormanIceRink.com.
