Oklahoma City Humane Society Homeward Bound program connects pets with prospective owners

The program sent about 1,800 dogs to out of state shelters that had a strong demand for adoptable pets.

On any given day the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter is full of dogs and cats waiting for new homes, or for their owners to be reunited with them.
