Where to get flu shot

The Oklahoma City-County Health Department offers not only the basic flu shot but also the high-dose flu shot for adults older than 65; the nasal flu mist for healthy people ages 2 through 49 and women who aren’t pregnant; and the intradermal shot that has a smaller needle.

The flu shot is available in several forms and at many locations in Oklahoma City and the rest of the state.

There are a few versions of the flu shot you can take: Besides the typical flu shot, there’s a high-dose shot for people older than 65 and the flu nasal mist, approved for ages 2 through 49 and for women who are not pregnant. Some clinics also offer an intradermal flu shot that has a much smaller needle.
