Naim Mustafaa isn't wasting any time getting his newly determined future started.

The 6-foot-4, 235-pound defensive end from Alpharetta, Ga., had been verbally committed to Georgia, but switched his commitment to Oklahoma State and plans to be enrolled for classes this semester, according to a report from GoPokes.com on Saturday.

Mustafaa told the website he flew to Oklahoma City on Saturday and expected to be checking into his dorm room later in the day.

Georgia had targeted Mustafaa, rated as a four-star recruit by Scout.com, as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense, but he'll play defensive end at OSU, a position where the Cowboys need to build some depth for the 2013 season.

Mustafaa's father played at Georgia Tech with OSU co-defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer, who was key in the recruiting process.

Mustafaa gives the Cowboys 20 players in the 2013 recruiting class, including two junior-college players — defensive end Sam Wren and offensive lineman Brandon Garrett — who have already signed letters of intent.

The 18 high school commitments can sign on Feb. 6.
