IF YOU GO

If you're going to Washington and to visit to the National Archives, avoid some of the lines and reserve a specific time to go by going online to http://www.archives.gov/nae/visit/reserved-visits.html or checking with a U.S. Senate or House member. Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Oklahoma, has an area on his website under “Visiting DC” to request tours to popular government stops in Washington like the Archives.

To explore the National Archives online, go to http://www.archives.gov for records, resources and other documents.
