EDMOND — Edmond Santa Fe quarterback Justice Hansen called an Arkansas assistant coach Sunday to talk about his standing with the program, which is beginning the Bret Bielema era.
Now, his Arkansas scholarship offer is in limbo.
“They said they were gonna have a meeting Monday morning and they were gonna discuss me,” Hansen said.
“I should be finding out sometime this week.”
Hansen, who accounted for 3,852 total yards and 50 touchdowns during his just-completed junior season at Santa Fe, also has an offer from Missouri.
Hansen picked up the Arkansas offer in March, when coach Bobby Petrino was still in charge. John L. Smith took over as interim coach for the 2012 season after Petrino was fired.
Arkansas hired Bielema, the former Wisconsin coach, in December.
The 2012 Oklahoman All-Stater said he's also hearing from Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Florida State, LSU and, most recently, Auburn. Hansen was scheduled this weekend to attend OU's junior day before it was canceled on Monday.
FORMER SABERCAT PICKS UP OU OFFER
Former Southmoore standout d'Vante Henry has been committed to West Virginia since mid-December.
Monday, though, Henry picked up an offer from Oklahoma.
Former high school teammate and current Sooner Julian Wilson tweeted the news of Henry's offer Monday night.
