Ratings watch: Cotton Bowl rating tops big week of football
KOKH-25 gets 35.1 rating for Texas A&M's rout of Oklahoma
Fox's telecast of the Cotton Bowl topped last week with a 35.1 rating on KOKH-25. The Sooners showed a 20 percent ratings increase from their appearance in the Insight Bowl last year (29.3). ESPNU's telecast of the Heart of Dallas Bowl, matching OSU and Purdue on Jan. 1, got only a 12.1 rating in Oklahoma City. OSU's rating was down drastically from its appearance in the Fiesta Bowl last year (36.7). The Thunder's top rating was 11.5 on FSOK for the game against Brooklyn on Wednesday night.
