Murder is on the menu at fundraising event in Norman

Tickets are on sale for a Valentine's Day tradition, a murder mystery dinner that raises money for Sooner Theatre, 101 E Main St.

“A Killer Reunion” finds revenge on the schedule at an all-'80s class reunion. A wild bunch of characters returns to Southside High School, where the high school counselor sets their lives on some unfortunate paths. Bad advice leads to a murder, which audience members are invited to solve by purchasing clues from cast members.

All proceeds benefit the programs and operations of Sooner Theatre, an anchor of Norman's downtown arts district.

Tickets are $75 each or $600 for a table of eight. The dinner and shows are Feb. 14-16 at The Railhouse, formerly Old Town Plaza, 102 W Eufaula St. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

“We love that we've created this Valentine's weekend tradition. Patrons love to make a date night of it, and everyone has a great evening of laughter and intrigue, even if it isn't always politically correct,” said Executive Director Jennifer Baker.
