Students accused of possessing drugs

Two Capitol Hill High School students are accused of possession of a controlled substance during school, according to a police report released Tuesday. Amanda Delgado, 15, and Alexys Parson, 15, were arrested Jan. 16 after a police officer found them with a bottle half full of a substance believed to be liquid hydrocodone and cups with liquid in them, the report states. An assistant principal alerted the officer. The two students were taken to the Community Intervention Center and held until they were released to their parents. School district officials issued a statement saying the girls will be disciplined according to the District Student Code of Conduct.
