Claremore man dies in Rogers County wreck

Christopher James Ketcham, 24, was killed around 12:45 a.m. on Thursday running a stop sign at the intersection of South 4190 Road and Akin Road in Rogers County. Ketcham's car hit the embankment and caught fire; he died at the scene.

— A Claremore man died early Thursday after a car crash in Rogers County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

About 12:45 a.m., Christopher James Ketcham, 24, was driving north on a Rogers County road, about two miles southeast of Sequoyah, when he ran a stop sign. The vehicle he was driving hit an embankment then caught fire, according to a patrol report.

Ketcham died at the scene, troopers said. He was wearing a seat belt. has disabled the comments for this article.
