Wesley Kidder, 24, was arrested on complaints of burglary, larceny of a trailer, eluding a deputy, driving under the influence of drugs (methamphetamine), reckless driving and failure to stop at a roadblock.

Bethany Hightower, 24, and Curtis Spencer, 23, were arrested on complaints of burglary and larceny of a trailer.

Spencer also had an outstanding warrant for violation of a deferred sentence.

Deputies responded to a burglary-in-progress call about 4:50 p.m. near Britton Road and Luther Road, spokesman Mark Myers said.

One deputy spotted a white Chevrolet Tahoe hauling a trailer, which matched the description of the burglars' vehicle, and began the pursuit.

The trailer detached from the vehicle near Post Road and Lejean Drive.

Deputies called off the pursuit near Post Road and SE 29 when the speeds reached 110 mph and deputies deemed it too dangerous, Myers said.

The sheriff's office picked up the pursuit after deputies located the vehicle through local news broadcasts, he said.

The vehicle crashed at Reno Avenue and Sunnylane Road.

Del City police and deputies caught up with the driver and two passengers at Reno Avenue, Myers said.
