While Deondre Clark's recruiting continues to grow nationwide, the Douglass junior still maintains strong interest in the in-state programs.

Clark, a 6-foot-3, 240-pound defensive end, has had offers from both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State since last summer. His mother, Dorshell Clark, posted on Twitter recently that her son would attend Oklahoma State's junior day this weekend, and will visit OU's junior day next week as well.

OSU EXTENDS OFFER TO BROKEN ARROW'S AKEM

While Oklahoma State doesn’t have a single Oklahoma high school player in its 2013 recruiting class, the Cowboys aren’t holding back in their pursuit of 2014 in-state prospects.

Broken Arrow linebacker Gyasi Akem became the fourth Oklahoma prospect with an OSU offer after his was extended by the coaching staff during his trip to OSU’s junior day Saturday, according to multiple online reports.

Akem, 6-foot-1, 216 pounds, is rated as a four-star prospect by Rivals.com and has offers from Missouri and Clemson. His teammate, running back Devon Thomas, is already committed to the Cowboys.

Douglass defensive end Deondre Clark and Jenks defensive back Steven Parker have OSU offers as well.

LATE PUSH ON OFFENSIVE LINE FOR SOONERS

With just two offensive linemen committed and one a junior college player, the Sooners are looking for a strong finish at the position in the final week and a half before signing day.

Three of their top targets are Lithonia (Ga.) Martin Luther King guard Josh Outlaw, Alpharetta (Ga.) tackle George Adeosun and Chicago Simeon tackle Kendall Moore.

Adeosun (6-foot-6, 294 pounds) and Outlaw (6-4, 290) were expected to be in Norman for weekend visits.

Outlaw has also visited TCU and Utah and has a Texas Tech visit scheduled for the weekend before signing day.

Adeosun visited Virginia last week and has offers from Kentucky, Missouri and Purdue.

Whether Moore visits is unclear. He has visits for UAB and Syracuse scheduled, but he could cancel the Syracuse visit in favor of a trip to Norman.

ALEXANDER STILL TAKING VISITS

When Dominique Alexander switched from Arkansas to Oklahoma in early November, it didn't look like there was much of a chance that the Tulsa Washington standout would give Arkansas another look.

But since the tumult at Arkansas has calmed following the December hiring of Bret Bielema, the Razorbacks have gotten back in the picture.

When Alexander committed to Arkansas last summer, he said playing at Arkansas had been his dream.

The Razorbacks have a solid history of recruiting Tulsa Washington, including running back Felix Jones and safety Eric Bennett.
