Freedmen searching for descendants

MOORE -- Members of the Muscogee Creek Indian Freedmen Band are seeking the descendants of Creek citizens placed on the Creek Freedmen Roll From 1896 to 1915.

If your ancestors were on this Indian Roll, contact us at or write P.O Box 6366 Moore, Oklahoma 73153 for eligibility.    

The MCIFB is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization. The association’s mission is to implement educational programs that depict the accurate history of the African-Creek Indian Freedmen; to educate members and the public regarding the African Creeks political rights as citizens of the Creek Nation, defined by the Creek Treaty of 1866(Article 2).
