The Oklahoman's OSU beat writer Gina Mizell took questions from readers in today's Power Lunch Chat. Join our Power Lunch Chats Monday-Friday at 11:30 a.m. on NewsOK.com/Sports. Below is a look at today's Q&A.

NewsOK 10:30 a.m. Gina will be logging in at 11 a.m., but you can begin submitting questions now.
Gina Mizell 10:53 a.m. Hey all, welcome to another OSU Power Lunch live chat. Let's talk football, recruiting, hoops, whatever you want. You can send your questions now and I'll be back in about five minutes.
Gina Mizell 11:00 a.m. Ok, let's rock n roll. You can keep firing away.
Chris 11:01 a.m. Recruiting question. Does OSU have 3 football scholarships left this year? I know Littlehead left which opened up another one.
Gina Mizell 11:02 a.m. That's always a difficult question, because it's such a fluid situation. Yes, Littlehead made his intentions known on Twitter. But has he officially gotten his release yet? That's still TBD. There have been other that have left the program since the end of the season...CB Jonovan Griffin is one. So, to be honest, I don't have an exact number for you.
Bill 11:03 a.m. I am of the opinion that OSU needs to recruit cornerbacks. Who do they got: what's the prognosis?
Gina Mizell 11:06 a.m. Safety is a bigger need at this point, with Lowe, Gary and Craig all rising seniors. Darius Curry and Taylor Lewis are projected as corners. "Athlete" Jerel Morrow is probably more likely to play DB. Here's something interesting that I just found while glancing at the roster to make sure I hadn't forgotten anyone: Ashton Lampkin is now listed as a safety and Larry Stephens is back listed at CB (he switched to S last season). Projected starters at CB next season are, of course, Justin Gilbert and Kevin Peterson.
JJ 11:06 a.m. What's the story on Bowser; will he be pursuing basketball instead of football? it would seem football would be his best option.
Gina Mizell 11:08 a.m. Sounds like it, based on what David Smoak, who first had this story, is reporting. Our Scotty Wright has it confirmed that he has decommitted but is working on getting more details from his coach, former OSU player Ricklan Holmes. Based on everything I've read, it sounds like he's a super athlete. But he is a big kid. Still, though, Bowser has to make the decision that's best for him. It's his life, not ours.
Gina Mizell 11:12 a.m. It appears to be pretty much set, other than Dontre Wilson. Does he indeed come on his visit this Friday? Another guy who was in last weekend was DT Ofa Hautau. With Bowser's decommitment, maybe coaches go after another DE. Could they flip Vili Leveni, who visited last weekend but is committed to Utah? WR Jordan Cunningham is another name to watch.
Alex 11:12 a.m. Can you talk about finishing the recruiting class?
Gina Mizell 11:12 a.m. Whoops, I posted the answer before the question. Sorry about that.
Don 11:14 a.m. Hi Gina, What's up with Kamari Murphy's recent tweets? Has he said or implied he's unhappy in Stillwater? And why has the quality of his play deteriorated so much recently? Thanks.
Gina Mizell 11:17 a.m. Specifically, that's probably a better question for Helsley. But you're right, his PT and production has really fallen off recently after beginning the season as the starter. He only played six minutes against West Virginia. I think Ford likes the Nash-Cobbins-Jurick-Brown-Smart lineup, at least right now. It'll be interesting to see how Brian Williams' return impacts things on the perimeter.
Maxfactor 11:17 a.m. Discuss punting and kicking positions.
Gina Mizell 11:20 a.m. Bobby Stonebreaker at K and Michael Reichenstein at P were the backups this season and both return. But don't be surprised if it's incoming freshman Ben Grogan for one or both duties. Big, big leg...his coach told me he's seen him make field goals from beyond 60 yards in practice. I'm actually working on a story about him for next Monday. To hold you over until then, find his drop kick for an XP on YouTube. It made Yahoo! sports this season.
Guest 11:20 a.m. What's up w/8 QBs? 4 on scholarship and 4 walkons. How can coaches sort thru 8 possibilities?
Gina Mizell 11:25 a.m. It's certainly been interesting, with Gonzales now coming into the mix as a walk-on. But if he's really as fast as he says he is, I wouldn't be surprised if he played somewhere else on the field. I would be shocked if all of these guys were still here in August. That doesn't mean I'm assuming Lunt, Chelf or Walsh will transfer (though that's certainly possible, depending on how the spring competition goes). But Chilcoat's future is unclear (Monken originally told him his scholarship was only for one year). Does Peterson, a walk-on, stick around? Garman has obviously hopped schools several times, though I think he does stay at OSU. It will be interesting to see how it all develops.
Bill 11:25 a.m. Gina, first you are Berry, then you post questions after the comment. Where's your five-hour energy drink? :-)
Gina Mizell 11:26 a.m. Seriously, I'm not on my game today. Sigh.
Matt 11:26 a.m. Hi Gina, do you think there will be any surprise recruits that might sign with OSU on signing day? I am hoping we see Donte Wilson as one of them.
Gina Mizell 11:28 a.m. Wilson would definitely be the big late get, if he did make the switch. As I mentioned above, Levini is someone OSU could potentially sway after Bowser's decommitment. Keep an eye on Hautau and Cunningham.
harry man 11:29 a.m. who will win the super bowl from Gina M.?
Gina Mizell 11:30 a.m. I like the 49ers in a close game. Let's say 24-20. Don't tell my boss (in case you didn't know, Mike Sherman is from Baltimore). I'm pretty fired up about this Super Bowl...I think it's going to be a great game.
Gina Mizell 11:30 a.m. Ok, folks, that's all the time I have for today. Keep it locked here for all your football, recruiting and hoops coverage. Have a great week!
