RSVP Provide-A-Ride utilizes volunteers age 55+ to drive low to moderate-income persons age 60 and older to medical appointments.  This free service ensures Oklahoma county seniors with no means of transportation are able to get to necessary medical appointments and treatments.

The funds from Boeing ECF will be used to provide mileage reimbursement for volunteer drivers who perform the service.

Faye Beam, Provide-A-Ride Coordinator says, “Our volunteer drivers use their personal vehicles to drive clients, and they do this out of the goodness of their hearts. However, due to the cost of fuel, many of our wonderful volunteers have to limit the number of times they can drive for us, or the distance they can go, which ultimately adversely affects our clients.
