Jefferson Elementary School students got health and wellness tips from University of Oklahoma athletes during the “Jefferson Family Event” sponsored by the school's Parent Teacher Association in cooperation with OU and the Norman Regional Healthplex.

The event featured a nutritional sit-down dinner followed by a rotation of activities that emphasized academics, health and fitness. Students were awarded prizes for participation in the various activities.

Sooner athletes led group events, and children had their photographs taken with OU's spirit mascots, Boomer and Sooner.
