American Indian students learn about eagles in Putnam City program

American Indian students in Putnam City School District attended an eagle presentation on Tuesday.

An eagle named Woody held the attention Tuesday of students enrolled in the Indian Education Program in the Putnam City School District.

Wildlife manager Victor Roubidoux and aviary assistant Harvey Coleman, from the Grey Snow Eagle House, presented a program about the eagle sanctuary and rehabilitation center. The Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma operates Grey Snow Eagle House in conjunction with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
