Offensive lineman Jake Warehime was the key piece to the Del City's offensive line that helped the Eagles to a big turnaround this season.

Now, Warehime has decided on his college destination, committing to Emporia (Kan.) State.

Warehime (6-foot, 290 pounds) started for the Eagles for three seasons, registering more than 100 knockdown blocks each year.

Emporia State has several commits from the state already, including Yukon running back A.J. West and Newcastle lineman Justin Coryell.

Warehime is the son of Eagles coach Nick Warehime.

Also, Del City quarterback Jon McBride, who threw for 1,115 yards and 12 touchdowns and ran for 777 yards and 10 scores, has committed to Northwestern Oklahoma State.

Eagles athlete Corey Lawrence is expected to decide between Oregon State and New Mexico.

PROCTOR COMMITS TO NSU

Norman North's Beau Proctor became at least the third Timberwolves' linebacker to commit to play in college recently, deciding to join Northeastern State.

Proctor, the grandson of former Oklahoma assistant coach Bobby Proctor, had 88 tackles and three interceptions as a senior, helping Norman North to the Class 6A championship game.

Proctor joins Jordan Evans, who is committed to the Sooners, and Jaxon Uhles, who is committed to Pittsburg (Kan.) State.

Verbal commitments are non-binding. Proctor, as well as other high school seniors, can sign beginning Wednesday.

HENNESSEY'S HILL PICKS NWOSU

A key piece in two Hennessey state football championships, running back Levi Hill has decided to continue his career at Northwestern Oklahoma State in Alva.

Hill rushed for 1,851 yards and 27 touchdowns as a senior, bringing his three-year total as a starter to 4,758 yards and 59 touchdowns, averaging better than eight yards per carry.

Hill also played linebacker, helping the Eagles to back-to-back Class 2A titles in 2010-11.
