State wildlife commissioners are expected to vote Monday on the proposed hunting and fishing regulations for 2013.
The most controversial proposal is limiting deer hunters to one buck for the combined muzzleloader and gun seasons.
The Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission meets Monday at 9 a.m. in the auditorium of the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, 1801 N Lincoln.
Last day of tackle show
Sunday is the final day of the Oklahoma Tackle and Hunting Show in the Transportation Building at State Fair Park.
The show opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for ages 6 to 12.

Edmond DU banquet upcoming
The Edmond chapter of Ducks Unlimited is holding a banquet and auction Feb. 16 at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with the dinner to follow at 7 p.m. The auction begins at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $60 for individuals, $70 for couples and $15 for greenwings (ages 15 and younger).

Fly fisherman to speak
Fly fishing guide and author Pat Dorsey will be speaking Tuesday in Oklahoma City at the Sportsman Country Club, 4001 NW 39.
Sponsored by the 89er Chapter of Trout Unlimited, Dorsey will speak on fly fishing, demonstrate fly tying and sign copies of his books.
The event begins at 6 p.m. and admission is free.
Fly fishing school on Lower Illinois
A fly fishing school is scheduled Feb. 16-17 on the Lower Illinois River sponsored by The Blue Doors at Tenkiller at CheckURFly Guide Service
Cost of the two-day session is $75. Cabins are available for $65.

Trout Derby on Blue River
The annual President’s Day Trout Derby will be Feb. 16-17 on the Blue River near Tishomingo.
Entry fee is $25 for adults and $20 for ages 15 and younger. A $100 cash prize will be awarded to the man and woman with the heaviest two-day stringer, the fly angler with the heaviest two-day stringer, the youth angler with the heaviest two-day stringer and the person catching the heaviest trout.

Fly fishing tournament
The Blue River Fly Fishers will be holding a “One Fly” tournament March 2 in the Blue River Public Hunting and Fishing Area near Tishomingo.
Fishing begins at 7:30 a.m. and concludes at 12:30 p.m. Entry fee is $25.
The top three anglers will receive fly fishing gear as prizes. All the entry fee money will go to the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation in support of the catch and release area on Blue River.
