Dr. Brian and Alyson Geister of Oklahoma City are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Brian Bennet Geister to Kelsie McCoy Guthrie, also of Oklahoma City. He is the grandson of the late Dr. Bennett C. Wray of Altus, OK and Mary Ann Wray who currently resides in Oklahoma City, and Veronica Geister and the late Dr. Charles Geister Jr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ron and Terri Guthrie of Denton, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Rosalie Sanders of Jackson, Miss. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Guthrie of Hattiesburg, Miss. She graduated from Denton High School, and the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Journalism and Public Relations. She is an Account Coordinator at Anglin PR.
The prospective groom graduated from Heritage Hall, the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Business and Finance, and from Trinity University in San Antonio with a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Administration. He is AVP of Operations at Integris Grove Hospital.
The couple will exchange vows July 13, 2013 at The Adolphus Hotel in Dallas. Dr. Jeff Williams of First Baptist Church, Denton, will officiate. The bride will be given in marriage by her parents. Matron of honor will be Codi Guthrie Reed. Best men will be Dr. Brandon Geister and Nick Geister. Bridesmaids include Abby Daniel, Katie Hart, Taylor Boswell, Laura Thompson, Claire Knight, Chezzarae Hart, and Sarah Ferman. Groomsmen include Christopher Wray, Ryan Wray, Preston Wray, Matt Stonecipher, Ev Ernst, Hunter Hoehn, Adam Rainbolt, and Tyler Ward. Serving as Flower girl will be Caroline Darring. Ring bearer will be David Darring. Ushers will be Shannon Bass, Aly Glavas, Ashley Collins, and Rachel Dooley. Other attendants include Wills Sims, Richard Sims, Bryan Beavers, and Jens Holmboe.
A reception will follow the service at The Adolphus Hotel.
