Tutor training classes scheduled

Community Literacy Centers Inc. is holding its next tutor training session 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the groups offices at 5131 N Classen Circle, Suite 204.

Tutor training will include an orientation and introduction into literacy work with adults. Practical training will include our phonetic approach to reading and steps for developmental progression to use with individuals or groups.
We will also provide a framework of what might be experienced and expected while assisting in the classroom.
