Pair arrested after armed robberies in northwest Oklahoma City

Between midnight and 3 a.m. Wednesday police received five reports of people being robbed at gunpoint in the area of Hefner Road and Council Road.

Two people have been arrested after a string of armed robberies in northwest Oklahoma City overnight, police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.

Between midnight and 3 a.m. Wednesday police received five reports of people being robbed at gunpoint in the area of Hefner Road and Council Road.

One man said he was forced in a car and driven to an ATM. The man was not hurt. Police spotted the car and arrested a man and woman who tried to run as an officer approached the car, Knight said.

Nicco Price, 24, and Brittney Hamilton, 27, were arrested.
