College football preview available for last-minute preparate for 2012 season

It’s finally time for the first week of the college football season. And, as usual, that means our annual football preview is released.

It was released Sunday in the newspaper and made its appearance at the top of the NewsOK home page on Monday.

And my favorite part was this piece of unsolicited feedback from a reader:

Absolutely the best ever football preview ever!  Incredible!   Just got done looking through it (too much too good to read at just one time) and this is a ‘saver’ edition!  I was going to compare it to the Tulsa World football preview issue, but it’s no contest.  You smoked them 100 – 0.  Covered everything no matter how important or not so important that I was thinking about, going down to a helpful comment on every player on the roster.  Amazing!  And I like your Oklahoman’s Top 25.  Seems about right to me.  Now I’m ready for the season to start!  Thanks again!  Larry

Larry was not paid for his endorsement, but we do appreciate it. I know that Mike Sherman’s sports team always puts in a lot of time and effort in trying to get the best product for fans as they prepare for the season. To me, the annual football preview section is the official opening to football season.

And if you missed it in The Oklahoman on Sunday, you can see it here on NewsOK.
