High school athletes of the week: Kasey Rein, Connor St. John and Jacob Lamb

Rein and St. John were named the most valuable swimmers in the Suburban Conference Swim Meet, while Lamb has won 11 of his last 12 matches going into Thursday's competition.

Kasey Rein and Connor St. John, Piedmont

Both were named the most valuable swimmers in the Suburban Conference Swim Meet.

Rein broke conference records in the girls' 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard freestyle. It was the third consecutive year she won the award.

St. John won the boys' 200-yard individual medley and set the conference record in the 100-yard breast stroke.

Wrestling

Jacob Lamb, Del City

Going into Thursday night's dual against Midwest City, Lamb had won 11 of his last 12 matches, including seven by falls.
