Meebo toolbar added to NewsOK pages

We’ve added a toolbar on NewsOK’s pages that allows our users to easily share items on social media or connect with our social media pages.

Meebo isn’t new to the social media world. I know plenty of people who use a personal Meebo log in to connect all of their IM accounts, including Facebook, Yahoo!, AIM, etc. That’s a product that individuals can use.

For publishers with sites like NewsOK, Meebo offers a toolbar that allows users to drag and drop images, videos or headlines onto their social media accounts for quick and easy sharing. It also offers the toolbar at the bottom of the page that allows users to quickly ‘”like” a page on Facebook or see how their Facebook friends are interacting on NewsOK.

Here’s a screen capture of the bar you see at the bottom of your page:

It’s new for NewsOK. You can find it at the bottom of every page and article on the site. And we hope the toolbar makes it easy for you to share some of our content with your friends in the social media circles.
