Photo Stream goes mobile on NewsOK

A couple of months ago, we launched the Photo Stream page on NewsOK.

We received a lot of good feedback for that page and our intent to display images from our photo database in a stream-of-consciousness mode.

From my blog in April:

The Photo Stream is a fun and alternative way to browse the content on NewsOK.com. Spend a few minutes with the Photo Stream, and you’ll already be feeling smarter. It’s always changing. It scrolls for a really long time. It’s interesting. It’s entertaining. It’s serendipitous.

So after giving it a couple months on our home page, and then adding it to our sub-navigation under the MULTIMEDIA button, we’re putting the Photo Stream into a new platform.

Mobile.

That’s a no-brainer, of course. Our mobile traffic continues to grow as more and more people do more and more of their web-browsing and news-consumption on their smart phones. And I’m as proud of our mobile site as I am about anything we’ve done in recent years.
