Celebrating a year on the StoryWall with a date at the Oklahoma State Fair
The Oklahoma State Fair begins this week. That’s big news. It’s something that everyone (in the western two-thirds of Oklahoma, at least) is aware of.
It’s also big news for NewsOK.
It’s big for NewsOK not only because we have a page devoted to the fair every year, as we do every year.
It’s big for NewsOK not only because we have tons of photos published on NewsOK every day during the fair.
It’s big for NewsOK not only because we have a special printed section previewing the fair that you can see either in yesterday’s Oklahoman or today on NewsOK.
Here’s why it’s big: It marks the first birthday of the NewsOK StoryWall presentation.Leading up to last year’s state fair, we had decided to tell the story of the state fair in a different way. The Story Wall was born.
We’re going to do it again this year, and we’re pretty excited about all the content you’ll be able to see when we launch the 2010 State Fair Story Wall after the first day of the fair on Thursday.
You’ll see great photos, interesting videos, written insight and more as you click on each block of content. As the fair progresses, the wall will get larger and more interesting. By the end of the fair’s run, you’ll have a collection of content that will give you all the sights and sounds of the 2010 Oklahoma State Fair.
That’s big news.
