Mid-Del elementary school students battle for chess supremacy
The tournament drew 100 elementary school students from the Midwest City-Del City district.

MIDWEST CITY — Students in the Midwest City-Del City School District matched wits and strategy with each other during the district's annual elementary school chess tournament Saturday at Carl Albert High School.
More than 100 students competed in the event. Some players were as young as 6 years old.
