Oklahoma City Thunder notebook: Kevin Durant falls from top spot in scoring race
Four straight sizable wins have denied Durant opportunities to dump in more points and remain on pace to lead the NBA in scoring for the fourth straight season.
So there is indeed a drawback to the Thunder's recent string of blowout victories.

After scoring only 18 points Sunday at Phoenix, which tied his second lowest scoring output this season, Durant dropped to second in the scoring race behind New York forward Carmelo Anthony.
Anthony is now averaging 29 points, or 0.1 more than Durant.
The past four games for both players has been the difference. Anthony has averaged 34 points in the Knicks' past four games. Durant has averaged just 20.8 in the past four for the Thunder, which won those contests by an average of 25.3 points. With none of Oklahoma City's last four victories coming by fewer than 21 points, Durant didn't need to play a single second in the fourth quarter.
Unless Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant (27.4-point average) strings together another scoring tear — and benefits from the top two scorers suffering a severe drop-off — this year's scoring title is bound to become a two-man race between Durant and Anthony.
Anthony has never finished a season as the league's scoring leader. Durant, meanwhile, can join Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain as the only players in NBA history to win four straight scoring crowns.
RUSSELL WESTBROOK EARNS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Russell Westbrook has been named Western Conference Player of the Week for games played Feb. 4 through Feb. 10.
Westbrook helped the Thunder to a 4-0 record during the week and averaged 21.8 points, three rebounds, six assists and 3.3 steals.
The Thunder defeated Dallas, Golden State and Phoenix twice in the week.
