A Washington, D.C. man is speaking out about a $780 bill he received for an ambulance that arrived too late to save his father’s life.

A Washington, D.C. man is speaking out about a $780 bill he received for an ambulance that arrived too late to save his father’s life.

NBCWashington.com reports that Durand Ford Jr. said his 71-year-old father died while waiting more than 30 minutes for the ambulance to arrive on Jan. 1.


“I feel angry. Upset,” Ford said. “I’m disturbed that we even received this bill.”
