Third Annual Youth Golf Skills Challenge Event Announced

Midwest City, OK.  The Midwest City Elks Lodge #1890, in partnership with the City of Midwest City and the Hidden Creek Family Golf Course, have announced the third annual Youth Golf Skills Challenge will be held on Saturday, April 6, beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Now in its third year, the event is free and open to all boys and girls in the age groups of 8-10, 11-13, and 14-16. They will compete in the long drive, fairway to green, sand shot, trouble shot, chip shot and putting.

Each participant will receive complimentary golf balls, tees, caps, T-shirts and other items.

Applications are available by calling organizer, Ron Hancock at 455.3077 or emailing him at rndokc@att.net or by picking them up at the Hidden Creek Golf Course, 3210 Belaire Dr. or at the John Conrad Golf Course, 711 S. Douglas Blvd.

 Registration forms are due no later than March 25.  Participation is open to the first 12 applicants in each age group.

Immediately following the event, a complimentary banquet and awards presentation will be held at the Elks Lodge, 8635 S.E. 15th ST. in Midwest City.  Reservations are required.
