A Texas cop is being hailed as a hero after saving a small dog from crossing a highway.
KHOU.com reports that the rat terrier dog named Cujo has a bad hip and was crossing a busy road when Officer Kyle Jones found him.
Jones spun his car around and blocked traffic on the busy highway to save the dog.
“When I saw it and saw the size of it, I immediately hit my lights and shut all the lanes off,” Jones said.
