Scouting report: The Barons are riding a three-game winning streak, having swept Grand Rapids last weekend at home. The Barons (52 standings points) are ninth in the Western Conference. The top eight make the playoffs. The Texas Stars lead the Western Conference (64 points) and have only one regulation loss their past 10 games. ... The Barons are 5-2 against the Stars this season, including a 2-0 record in Cedar Park, but Jordan Eberle and Justin Schultz, who returned to Edmonton after the NHL lockout ended, played in six of the seven games. The Texas Stars won the only game (3-0) that Eberle and Schultz did not play in. ... Forward Mark Arcobello (43 points) is the leading scorer on Oklahoma City's roster. ... Matt Fraser (33 points, including 22 goals) leads the Stars in scoring. ... Texas goaltender Cristopher Nilstrop is among the American Hockey League leaders in wins (17) and goals against average (2.17). Nilstrop recently returned from a stint with the Dallas Stars.
