Venue: National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.

Presented by: Chesapeake Energy Corporation and Clearwater Enterprises, LLC.

Honored: Kelly Dyer Fry was presented the Jim McGuinness Award.

The program: Board members Dan Batchelor welcomed the guests and Mark McCubbin gave the invocation. Both Linda Morgan and her son Chase Morgan spoke on their long road of coping with Chase's addiction and the help they had received along the way. Astec Charter School provided a video tribute to Fry.

Presenter: Chris Reen, president of OPUBCO Communications Group and publisher of The Oklahoman, introduced Kelly Dyer Fry, who received a standing ovation when she took the podium. Fry, vice president of news for OPUBCO Communications Group and editor of The Oklahoman, spoke about addiction and the need to address this growing problem. She gave a moving and informative account of her son Eric's continuing struggle with addiction and how it has affected her supportive family. Board Chairman Marsh Pitman presented the award to her, and Karen Cathey gave the closing remarks.

Decor: Arrangements of dendrobium orchids were centered on the tables and podium.

Chairman: Susan Edwards was chairman and working with her were Kate Dougherty, Lorrie Jacobs, Carol Lester, Jamie Reineke, Tony Say, Becky Shaffer, Marianne Trigg, Georgiana Wiesner and Steve Young.
