For the third straight season, Oklahoma City had two representatives in the All-Star Game in Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.

Durant said he doesn't take being a representative of Oklahoma City lightly.

“It means a lot,” Durant said. “It's a blessing we get to represent where we come from, OKC. And we've just got to embrace it all and know that 10, 15 years down the line we will remember these times together as a pair. It was a privilege, and hopefully I get to come back next year.”

DURANT ON POP

Durant said he enjoyed playing for San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich, who coached the West team in Sunday's All-Star Game.

It was the second time Durant has played for Popovich, who also coached the West in the 2011 All-Star Game in Los Angeles.

“It was a joy,” Durant said. “He just makes the game very, very fun. He told us to go out and play. But he also said to respect the game. As players, we all respect Pop around the league. We know what he stands for. We know what he's done. It was a pleasure playing for him, and I had a lot of fun.”
