Three men were shot and killed in separate incidents within three hours in north Oklahoma City Wednesday night, police said.
The victims’ names were not released, and no suspects were named.
About 5:15 p.m., officers were called to a shooting at 2701 NW 12. When they arrived, they found the man dead outside of the home, Lt. Don Holland said.
The victim was identified as a white man in his early 30s, Holland said.
Police have the suspected shooter — a man — in custody. Investigators are determining what prompted the shooting before making any arrests but it appeared to be a domestic incident, Holland said.
Several of the victim’s family members were also being questioned at the home, including the man’s wife and father.
About 7:40 p.m., officers were called to 839 W Eubanks on a drive-by shooting where they found a black man in his mid-30s shot in the front lawn of the home. He died at OU Medical Center. Another drive-by shooting was reported at 3209 N Lindsay Ave. about a minute later, but no one was hurt, he said.
The motive was not known for the shooting, but gang investigators were on the scene.
About 7:50 p.m., officers were called to 6540 W Wilshire Blvd. after it was reported that a man was firing from the breezeway into an apartment, Holland said. Two black males in their mid-20s inside the unit were shot. Both were taken to OU Medical Center where one died and the other was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.
