STIGLER (AP) — Authorities say 30 handguns and a rifle have been stolen from a pawn shop in eastern Oklahoma.

The Feb. 13 burglary at City Gun & Pawn in Stigler was announced Thursday by the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.

The ATF is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the burglary.

The special agent in charge of the ATF's Dallas field office, Paul Vanderplow, says it's important that authorities recover the weapons to prevent them from being used in violent crimes.

The Southwest Times Record reports anyone with information can call Stigler police or the ATF.
