Cliff Pace leads Bassmasters Classic

Cliff Pace took a seven-pound lead Saturday in the Bassmasters Classic at Grand Lake O' the Cherokees.

Pace, from Petal, Miss., had a two-day catch of 43 pounds, 4 ounces. With one day left, Brandon Palaniuk of Rathdrum, Idaho, was second at 36-4, followed by Michael Iaconelli of Pittsgrove, N.J., at 35-3.

The winner will receive $500,000.
