NewsOK blogging to return

It’s been five long weeks since I put the NewsOK.com Redesign blog to bed. It had run its course and served its purpose – communicating with NewsOK visitors about the changes in the hours, days and weeks after the redesign.

But now it’s time for the blog to return. I’ll change the name, and I’ll change the focus, but the purpose will remain.

The name is yet to be determined.

The focus will be on new and exciting things that we are working on and launching on NewsOK.com and other partner Web sites.

But the purpose? It will continue to simply provide a forum to communicate with NewsOK visitors.

This won’t be NewsOK’s most popular blog (I hope not, anyway – there are too many great writers, reporters and columnists in this space). But it will be here when you need it, speaking directly with people who care about getting news and information 24 hours a day from the most-trafficked Web site in Oklahoma.

Look for changes in the coming days.
