A woman who was out drinking with a friend in England recently fell in a hotel room onto an umbrella, which impaled her face.
The Sun reports that Jessica Yates landed on the opened umbrella and one of the spokes rammed through her nose, piercing her gum and impaling her mouth.
She was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for the wound.
“I was a bit drunk and didn’t realize at first the umbrella was stuck to my face. The hospital gave me the end of it as a souvenir,” she said.
